Cape Town has some of the most unique topographies in the world, so it's no wonder that Cape Town is one of the most popular destinations for travel.
Activities
Day 1
Welcome to Cape Town.
Cape Town is a city that has it all. Also known as the "Mother City" it's home to South Africa's first mosque, oldest wine farm, a 350-year old garden, award-winning eateries and timelessly beautiful beaches. And at its heart and two oceans at its feet is Table Mountain—one of the most spiritual places on earth.
In Cape Town, one of the most vibrant cities in the world, you can find a laid-back atmosphere coupled with cosmopolitan vibrancy and an eclectic mix of old and new. You'll find everything from historical castles to sleek skyscrapers and trendy malls—all in an atmosphere that feels like home after just one visit!
Arrive at the airport and you will be met by one of our representatives. You will then be transferred to your hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight Cape Town
Day 2
Today you will have breakfast at the hotel. After we will embark on a tour of the Mother City. We will first head out on a coastal drive through Clifton and Sea point. We will pass areas of interest like the Castle, Parliament, the SA Museum, District Six, the Slave Lodge, Colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood and finally the Greenmarket square for a little bit of shopping therapy.
Day 3
After breakfast, we will go on a full day tour of the Peninsular. This refreshing tour showcases the best of the Cape Peninsular and why its commonly known as the "Fairest Cape".
We will visit several points of interest like Sea Point, Camps, Bay, the Clifton and Llandudno beaches then to Hout Bay.
We will continue driving through the Atlantic Seaboard, passing through the picturesque Noordhoek and Scarborough. We will then head to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.
Best known for the famous Cape Point, the farthest tip south of African Continent, this is without doubt a striking slither of protected reserve that pour itself directly lapped by the Two oceans. Various scenic drives and picnic sites put you in the midst of a fabulous terrain that's home to baboons, zebras, elands, red hartebeests, ostriches, and the pretty bontebok. The usually windswept reserve can be pretty bleak, but the coastal views are arresting, and the beaches are almost always deserted.
Day 4
Today, after breakfast, we will visit Robben Island.
The Robben Island tour is a unique opportunity to explore the history and culture of South Africa.
In addition to learning about the island’s past, you can also learn about its present-day significance as an UNESCO World Heritage Site and museum offering daily tours. The tour begins at the Nelson Mandela Gateway at V&A Waterfront with a multimedia exhibition, museum shop and restaurant after which guests hop onto the ferry for a scenic trip to Robben Island (only available from 9am - 5pm). Once on board your tour guide will guide you around the island explaining all its historical significance including how it was used during apartheid times as an internment camp for anti-apartheid activists including Nelson Mandela himself!
Return to the hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure. This is an opportunity for you to shop or gallivant around Cape Town by yourself, taking in the culture, sights and sounds of the city, interacting with guests and residents and delighting in the local South African cuisine. Braai BBQs should not be missed.
